PROPERTY VALUATION IN BRITAIN

Abstract This article states that the aim of property valuation in Britain is to estimate the market value ofvarious interests in market transactions involved in "freehold" and "leasehold". It is market value, or marketprice, that forms the basis of property valuation in Britain. So the role of valuer is mostly to predict the marketvalue or price. Usually there are five traditional valuation methods applied to valuing the properties
