The Relationship between the Physiological Effects of Theanine and Sports

Theanine,an amino acid found specifically in tea,is one of the tastier components,and its concentration determines the quality of tea. In this review,the theanine' s physiological effects are summarized,alongside with possible sport applications. These physiological effects include lowering blood pressure,anti-tumor,improving learning and memorial capability,relaxation,neuroprotective effect,anti-fatigue,decreasing fat accumulation,immune effect. Theanine,a safe food addictive,can improve sports' capability and accelerate relieving fatigue. So,theanine can be considered to be sport beverage addictive.
