Study on adsorbability of Mn~(2+) by zeolite/γ-Al_2O_3 prepared by sol-gel method

WU Shu-lin,LIU Jian-ming,WU Dong-yi,HU Zhen-xing (Department of Environmental and Municipal,Tianjin Institute of Urban Construction,Tianjin 300384,China)  
The adsorbability of the zeolite/γ-Al2O3 compound material prepared by sol-gel method under static condition to Mn2+ was detected by potassium periodate spectrophotography.The result showed that the adsorbability was obtained for Mn2+ within pH of 7~8,the adsorption equilibrium data were well fitted with Langmuir equation,the absorption capacity was up to 29 mg/g induced by composite fuction.
