Influence of Calcium Acrylate on The Hydration Process of Cement

We chose better samples to test the heat of hydration,analyzed the samples by FTIR,DTA-TG and XRD to study the influence of calcium acrylate on the heat of hydration of cement.The results show that calcium acrylate can accelerate the formation of AFt,the hydrolysis and the velocity of heat of hydration of C3S,restrain the transformation of AFt into AFm,and influence the uncleation and precipitate of Ca(OH)2 which lead to decrease of formation of Ca(OH)2 in 3~24 hours;and that,in 3~7 days,calcium acrylate can influence the hydration of calcium silicate and the formation of gel structure,which makes the formation of Ca(OH)2,content of bound water and extent of hydration lower than those of blank sample,and latterly improve the dispersity of paste and the concentration of Ca2+ which make the hydration of cement sufficient.
