The impact of difference of land surface emissivity on the land surface temperature retrieval of Jinan City

With the deep application of remote sensing,several algorithms have been put forward for land surface temperature retrieval.However,land surface emissivity,which is one of the significant parameters in temperature retrieval,can be calculated in various ways.Based on the detailed introduction to Van's empirical formula and the mixed pixels decomposing method in computing surface emissivity,Landsat TM data and the mono-window algorithm developed by QIN were used to obtain the land surface temperature in Jinan City.Two figures were acquired,which represented the LST_QIN_JYGS and the LST_QIN_HHXY respectively.The relationship between land surface temperature and land cover was also studied.It is shown that when the two surface emissivities obtained by the algorithms above are applied to the mono-window algorithm,the general trend is approximately the same for the two surface temperature retrieval results.However,the surface temperature of LST_QIN_HHXY is higher than that of LST_QIN_JYGS in general,and the temperature difference among different surfaces retrieval is obvious.Except for the same water temperature inversion,the largest temperature difference is among cities and towns,which is 4.3℃;the larger temperature difference is among rural reservations and forest lands,which are 4.19℃ and 3.63℃ respectively and the smallest is among arable lands,with the temperature difference of 0.91℃.
