Butt Weld Ultrasonic Inspection Robot Development Aid

Contrary to the problem of intensive labor, low efficiency, missing and poor working conditions in the process of ultrasonic flaw of pressure vessels and other large metal structure,according to JB4730-2005 non-destructive testing of pressure equipment and other standards, through mimicking manual ultrasonic testing operation, an automatic ultrasonic flaw detection robot body is designed. The use of STC series MCU realize the software and hardware control ultrasonic inspection robot simulation validation, and the development of a robot prototype, after commissioning to achieve a butt weld automatic ultrasonic flaw detection capabilities.
