An Analysis of the Evolution and Causes of the Development of Anglo-American Special Relations after the Second World War

Anglo-American special relations since the formation, twists and turns, has been able to maintain and develop. The end of the cold war and the "9/11" incident did not weaken the special relationship between the United Kingdom and the United States, and the two sides sought a new balance of interests. On the whole, in the future for a long period of time, Anglo-American special relationship will be "special" down, and the case may also be further strengthened. It should be said that the commonality of the cultural level is the stealth cornerstone of the special relationship between the United States and Britain. At the same time, the interest is the great power that makes the United States and Britain maintain their special relationships.
