The Affecting Factors and Regulation of Ash Fusion Characteristics

The affecting factors of ash fusion characteristics and its research progress at home and abroad were reviewed in this paper.The relationship between chemical composition and ash fusibility was outlined from both quantitative and qualitative perspective.Typical refractory minerals and fluxing minerals and their evolvement in heating process were also summarized.Moreover,two methods of regulation ash fusion temperature,coal blending and adding additive were given with concrete examples,and the effect of reaction atmosphere and pressure on ash fusibility was briefly described.Recommendation for the optimization of slagging and the expansion of coal type application range was made finally.
