Engine Bracket Optimization Design Based on ANSYS Workbench

Take an engine bracket of a certain brand as an example, create the parametric 3 D modeling by SolidWorks, and then import the model into ANSYS Workbench through the ANSYS software "interactive technology of two-way parameters". Get the stress at critical locations of engine bracket by static analysis, and then followed by the optimization design which changes the parametric size of the engine bracket. The topology optimization can save about 40% on material costs without compromising part performance while meeting material strength requirements. The application of the new collaborative simulation environment ANSYS Workbench not only meets the needs of modern enterprises in parallel design and rapid design, but also improves the product's quality, reduce the costs of materials and shorten the product design cycle.
