Numerical simulation of fluid flow in low permeability reservoir using finite difference method

GUO Yong-cun,LU De-tang,MA Ling-xiao (Department of Mechanics and Mechanical Engineering, USTC, Hefei 230027, China)  
The nondimensional control equations, initial conditions and boundary conditions of fluid flow in porous medium in low permeability reservoir are given, and the finite difference method is employed to simulate the fluid flow. Numerical results are archived by using Gringarten-Bourdet graph to analyze the well-bottom pressure. A method used to compute the positions of moving boundaries are presented and the propagation of moving boundaries are also discussed.
