Numerical Simulation of Nonlinear Wave Generated in Wave Flume by VOF Technique

The nonlinear wave generated by wave-making board is a typical problem of the interactions of nonlinear wave with bodies.This paper researched this problem by applying the VOF technique.In order to allow the wave-making board to move through grid cells in computations,the boundary condition on the board surface was satisfied by adjusting the water pressure in the cells near the board during the prosess of pressure iteration.This paper also deals with the problems of open boundary condition and the boundary condition on the intersection of body surface and free surface.The comparisons were made between numerical and experimental results.
