An Immune Genetic Algorithm Based on Selection Probability of Similarity and Vector Distance for Power System Planning

To solve problems on the urban power network planning,an immune genetic algorithm based on selection probability of similarity and vector distance is developed in the paper.The algorithm combines the genetic algorithm(GA) with the immune algorithm(IA).The dynamic penalty coefficient is used in the objective function.In order to keep the type diversity and to ensure the algorithm to converge faster,selection probability of similarity and vector distance which takes into account the coding similarities among antibodies are proposed.On comparison with other algorithms by case experiments on the IEEE 6-bus system,the results show the algorithm proposed in this paper possesses distinct advantages on efficiency and calculation speed.
