Finite Element Analysis of Overhead Ultra-high Voltage Power Transmission Line under the Coupled Mechanics-magneto Interaction

Considering coupling effect of deformation and electromagnetic fields,this paper proposes the solution method for the coupling field based on the finite element analysis of overhead ultra-high voltage(UHV) power transmission line under the coupled mechanics-magneto interaction.Both static and dynamic deformation and vibration of transmission line under interaction of aeolian and electromagnetic fields has been analyzed by using finite element method.The simulated results indicate that the wind load and intense magnetic field are important factors for safety operation of overhead UHV power transmission line.The proposed method is effective and it provides theoretical basis for study of wind vibration and wind-resistant design.
