The Dynamic Features of Ecosystem Environment and Plant Productivity in the Source Regions of the Changjiang River and Yellow River

The rise trend of air temperature and evapotranspiration in the source regions of the Changjiang River and Yellow River has been evident since the half century; moreover, it was larger in the east than in the west. The fluctuations of air temperature and evaporation were obvious temporally, which was mainly reason of the change of regional ecosystem environment. However, the variations of rainfall were small. The soil humidity declined distinctly since 1987, which suggested that soil evaporation was bigger than replenishment by rainfall in the conditions of climate warming, which leaded that soil was in the development of warming and drought. Because of the influences by climate change, the plant aboveground net productivity descended obviously and its annual variations were visible and since 1987.
