The Effects of Pulsatile Candiopulmonary Bypass(CPB)on Pulmonary Leukoseqestration and Lipid Peroxidation

The changes of leukocyte kinetics in blood and the level of serum Malondialdehyde(MDA)were obseved during CPB The result revealed the count of leukocytes was (8 20±1 67),×10 9/L in blood of left atrium and (8 76±1 42),×10 9/L in the right after bypass in pulsatile flow(PF)group and the level of serum MDA was (2 87±0 28) nmol/ml before bypass and (3 40±1 49) nmol/ml after bypass,no significant different was observed But the count of leukocytes in blood of left atrium was significantly lower than that of right in Non pulsatile Flow(NPF)group and the level of serum MDA was significantly higher than that before bypass The level of serum MDA after bypass in PF group was significantly lower than that in NPF group(4 32±0 99 nmol/ml) All above revealed the effects of pulmonary leukoseqestration and lipid peroxidation during CPB with PF perfusion can be reduced and the pulmonary protection can be improved
