Industrialization Mode and Development Countermeasures for the Deep-sea Microbe in China

JIANG Bing-guo (Chinese Academy of Fishery Sciences,Beijing 100141, China)
Deep-sea microbes have great scientific and economic values. To study deeply and promote the industrialization development of the deep-sea microbe can effectively protect our interests and rights in developing the marine resources in deep-sea, and promote the biotechnology industry development of our country. The key to the industrialization development of the deep-sea microbe is to obtain the intellectual property of deep-sea microbe active substances and gene sequence. Combination of " production-learning-research" based on obtaining and transferring the intellectual property is the main development way of the deep-sea microbe industry. It is essential to speed up the industrialization development of China′s deep-sea microbe resources by taking such measure as drawing up the deep-sea microbe resources research and development plan, and setting up special programs for deep-sea microbe resources research and development; speeding up the building of " production-learning-research" platform and planning the deep-sea microbial resources industrialization development base; actively participating in the enactment of international rules of deep-sea microbial resources development, and strengthening the international cooperation in deep-sea microbial resources development., etc.
