Limited level dynamic control of the Xihe reservoir based on different pre-discharge operation modes

To solve the practical problems in the operation of Xihe reservoir,the feasibility of limited level dynamic control is analyzed from three aspects.The control rule is discussed for the discharge mode with forecast and the mode without forecast.Some key indicators are analyzed,such as pre-discharge threshold flow,pre-discharge flow and pre-discharge water levels.Under the Xihe reservoir flood control rulest,he upper reservoir limited level is studied for different pre-discharge schemes.The flood control limited level is verified by adopting certain planning operation rules and through flood operation calculation and the maximum limited level is determined for Xihe reservoir.
