Leaching of Zn and Mn From Spent Zinc-manganese Batteries Material in H_2O_2/H_2SO_4 System

Leaching of Zn and Mn from spent zinc-manganese batteries material in H2O2/H2SO4 solution was researched.Effects of H2SO4 concentration,H2O2 concentration,solid/liquid ratio,reaction temperature and reaction time on leaching rate of Zn and Mn were examined.The results show that the existence of H2O2 in H2SO4solution is conducive to leach of Zn and Mn.When H2SO4 concentration is0.55mol/L,H2O2 concentration is 0.66mol/L,solid/liquid rate is 1∶30,reaction temperature is 50℃ and reaction time is 60 min, the leaching rate of Zn and Mn can reach 97%and 94%,respectively.The effect is good.
