Application of Dynamic and Drain Consolidation Method in Guangzhou Soft Clay Foundation Treatment

The characteristics of soft clay foundation in Guangzhou are studied and the request of foundation treatment is analyzed. By field test of dynamic and drain consolidation method and its effect comparison, the mechanism and the designed construction parameter of dynamic and drain consolidation method in treating clay and loose sand double weak layers foundation are discussed. The study indicates that by selecting the right designed construction parameter of dynamic and drain consolidation method, soft clay layer and loose sand layer below are strengthened efficiently.
