Application of DynaCT in lumbar intervertebral disc herniation with ozone treatment

Objective To investigate DynaCT function based digital subtraction angiography(DSA) composed of flat detector in clinical application for lumbar intervertebral discs herniation with ozone treatment.Methods Forty patients definitely diagnosed as intervertebral discs herniation by CT or MRI were enrolled,male 26,female 14,aged 24-74 years old,mean age 45.3 years old,ill courses of 3 months to 19 years,L4-5 and L5-S1 were the main pathological changes in intervertebral disc.Before and after the ozone injection,and after withdrawal of the needle,DynaCT for intervertebral disc were performed.Results The positioning and monitored CT-like images before puncture were provided by DynaCT,all the puncture success rates were 100 %.After ozone injection,the ozonedistribution in intervertebral discs showed by DynaCT scan was around vertebral body or in muscles gap.In 38 cases of the patients showed effective,but in 2 case images showed poor ozone distribution.Conclusion The safety in lumbar intervertebral disc herniation with ozone treatment is guaranteed by application of DynaCT.The DynaCT imaging is important in evaluating the effect of ozone treatment in intervertebral discs herniation.
