Study on Preparation of Nanopowder CuO by Room-temperature Solid-station Reaction

Nanopowder CuO was synthesized by 2 methods:(1) Cu(CH3COO)2 ·2H2O and H2C2O4 ·2H2O as the starting materials,precursor w as prepared by solid state reaction at room temperature,then CuO Nanopow der w as obtained by decomposition of the precursor.;(2) one step solid state reaction of NaOH with CuCl 2 ·2H 2 O,and PEG-400 as surfactant at room temperature.The effects of grinding time,ignition temperature and time on products w ere studied.The product nanoparticles w ere characterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD).The experiment result shows that the diameter of copper oxide nanopowders prepared by methed(2) is small,the yield is high.The diameter of copper oxide nanopow ders are affected by reaction time,ignition temperature and ignition time.The best conditions preparing copper oxide nanopow ders are as follow s:The reactants is ground for 30min;the precursor is decomposed at 350℃ for 1h.The average diameter of the product copper oxide is 27.06 nm.,the yield is 93.16%.
