Cultural Review and Reconstruction of Undergraduate Teaching Evaluation

By analyzing the system-level and operation-level problems of undergraduate teaching evaluation,this paper concludes that the misunderstanding is the main reason for the fact that the public have doubt about evaluation,and the deep reasons are the lack of school autonomy and academic self-regulatory mechanism and quality awareness,the overly centralized higher education management system and single hierarchical classification system of higher education and resource allocation mechanism. All these have close relations with the traditional culture of collectivism in china. Therefore,studying the specific problems of undergraduate teaching evaluation from the cultural perspective of collectivism has great significance on the construction of localization external quality assurance system.
