The Pollutant Concentration in Four Surface Runoffs and Rice Field Water of Shanghai Suburbs

The pollutant concentration in surface runoffs of water field, dry field, village and township, in paddy water and percolation water of rice field have been detected. The major detected pollutants were TSS, SS, TN, TP, CODcr, CODmn and microbiological pollutants. The detected results showed that the pollutant concentrations of 4 surface runoffs were higher than the concentration of environmental surface water in Shanghai suburbs, except those of percolation water of rice field, and the pollutant concentration of village runoffs was the highest among 4 surface runoffs, after fertilizer application, the concentration of nitrogen in paddy water was very high following the storm raining.
