Effect Analysis of Acupoint Application Therapy on Hypertensive Disease

Objective: To study the effect of acupoint application therapy with Chinese drugs on hypertensive disease.Method: 70 cases whose blood pressures were at the highest limit were selected to study.On the basis of routine hypotensive drugs,they were given to acupoint application therapy.Then their blood pressures and symptoms were observed and contrasted before and after treatment.Results: Contractive pressure was from 137.86±8.91 mmHg before treatment to 125.86±6.43 mmHg after treatment,and diastolic pressure from 86.83±7.21 mmHg before treatment to 75.43±5.69 mmHg after treatment.And the score of symptoms such as insomnia was improved markedly.Conclusion: Acupoint application therapy can be an assistant method in treating hypertensive disease.And the effect has significant difference not only,but also clinical significance.
