RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT OF AP1000 REACTOR COOLANT PIPE IN CHINA

Lu Huaxing(State Nuclear Power Technology Corporation)  
The technical characteristic and requirement of AP1000 reactor coolant pipe was described,and the major technical ideas on the localization of AP1000 reactor coolant pipe in China was briefly introduced,as well as the progress of the process. Through collaborative investigation,some Chinese corporations have mastered the know-how of the making of forged AP1000 reactor coolant pipe. The successfully manufactured reactor coolant pipe meets all the requirements of specification of Westinghouse Electric Company LLC.
