Experimental Study on High Temperature Effect'sInfluence to the Strength and Deformation Quality of Marble

This paper analysed the strength and deformation quality of marble after it is treated by high temperature 100~800°C. It adopts a hydraulic pressure servo rigidity rock mechanics experiment system and gains valid experimental data of marble's deformation parameters responding to 8 temperature levels above-mentioned. The parameters include unidirectional strength in compression, elastic modulus, deformation modulus and Poisson's ratio. On the base of this, it analysed systematically the statistics regularity and effect mechanism of strength and deformation quality's change of marble along with temperature's change. The result indicates that the mechanics parameters above-mentioned drop at different extent gradually, in particular, the strength of marble may drop suddenly at certain temperature levels (intervals).
