Mechanics Analysis of Semi-infinite Body under Thermal Shock with Non-Fourier Model

Thermal stress obtained from non-Fourier model has remarkable differences with stress from Fourier model,because of the differences heat transfer mechanics in micro/nano-scale with those in macro scale.Based on the temperature field from non-Fourier heat transfer model in the semi-infinite body under thermal shock,the stress intensity of an edge crack and thermal stress were studied.The results from non-Fourier heat transfer model were compared with those from Fourier heat transfer model.It is conclusion that the maximal value of thermal stress or stress intensity from non-Fourier heat transfer model is higher than that from Fourier heat transfer model near surface or when crack length is short.But in the semi-infinite body or when crack length is long,those results are contrary.
