Polymorphism of the immunoglobulin-like receptors gene in killer cells of Chinese Han population

XU Jin-huan,ZHANG Jian-qiong,PAN Ning,JIANG Wei,MIAO Feng-qin,XIE Wei(Basic Medical Science School,Southeast University,Nanjing 210009,China)
To detect the diversity of killer Ig-like receptor(KIR) gene content in killer cells and the combination of haplotypes in Chinese Han population,DNA samples from unrelated healthy individuals of Han population in Jiangsu and Anhui provinces, west-north area and north-east area of China were genotyped with PCR-SSPmethod,and the genotypes and haplotypes were assigned according to standard model advocated by Hsu et al.The results demonstrated that a new haplotype was observed in these 3 areas with a 4%frequency,in which the KIR2DL2 and KIR2DS2 were represented at a higher frequency among population in north-east area than others. On the other hand, the frequency of KIR2DS4 was lower than others. It is evident that there are distinctive frequencies of KIR gene content, haplotypes as well as genotypes in Chinese Han population in different area of China.
