Fan Hongyi;Marxism Institute,Zhejiang Normal University;
Marx's theory of world history has been formed and developed under the background of global geographical discovery, industrial development, and universal in-depth background and momentum. Marx advocates that the refinement of international division of labor and the development of productive forces are the driving forces for the formation of world history. The nature of capital expansion has enabled the development of the world market. In the history of the world, the bourgeoisie has always dominated the world history theory. The "Belt and Road Initiative" is based on the domestic development needs and the background of the global economic downturn. The "Belt and Road Initiative"upholds the concept of"jointly discussing, co-building, and sharing" and implements strategies such as "interconnection and interoperability." The "One Belt and One Road" provides support and assistance for the economic development of countries along the route, and increases the international discourse power and influence of China and the vast number of developing countries. Marx's theory of world history is an important theoretical source of the"One Belt and One Road"strategy. At the same time, the"One Belt and One Road"is based on China's and international actual conditions, and is innovating and developing Marx's world history theory.
