High temperature deformation and fracture of Fe 3Al Ti

High?temperature deformation and fractural behaviors of Fe 28Al 4Ti from Fe 3Al base alloy has been investigated here.It is discovered that the alloy is of obvious super plasticity at temperatures between 650~750℃.The apparently active energy is obviously lower than creep active energy of Fe 3Al base alloy,but higher than that of Fe 28Al 2Ti with lower Ti contents.SEM investigation reveals that the fracture is conducted in dimple fractural manner.
