Comparing the Structure and Capability of Two Chitosan Fibers

The structure and properties of two chitosan fibers were researched and compared,there were great differences in degree of deacetylation,molecular weight,degree of crystallinity,dyeability and stability to hydrogen peroxide of chitosan fibers manufactured by different enterprises.The chitosan fibers with high degree of deacetylation and large molecular weight have better crystallinity,better dyeability,and better stability to hydrogen peroxide but lower weight loss rate in oxygen bleaching.
