Pushover-QR method for static elasto-plastic analysis of high-rise buildings

Combining the QR-method and the Pushover analysis method together,the authors put forward the Pushover-QR method for static elasto-plastic analysis of high-rise buildings in this paper.The Pushover-QR method still continues to use the ideology of regular Pushover method in static elasto-plastic analysis of the structures.By replacing the part of finite element in the Pushover analysis with the QR-method and by making full use of the advantages of both the QR-method and the Pushover method,the Pushover-QR method largely simplifies the calculation of the static elasto-plastic analysis of the structures.The Pushover-QR method is applied to calculate some examples,which show that the Pushover-QR method is an economic,efficient and feasible analysis method in the static elasto plastic unalysis of the structures.
