Experimental studies of seismic behavior of prestressed contrete aqueduct

WANG Bo ZHOU Shi-hu XU Jian-guo CHEN Huai (School of Environment and Water conservancy,Zhengzhou University,Zhengzhou 450002,China)  
Based on experiments of prestressed concrete aqueduct under low reversed cyclic loading,the failure pattern,loading procedure,hysteresis curves,ductility,rigidity degeneration and energy dissipation,etc,were studied systematically.Experinental results are shown that prestressed aqueduct failure pattern is bending-shear failure,and the hysteresis curves are hold together on some degree in the first stage,and it is like a shuttle as a whole,and it has good performance on crack control,and the whole aqueduct structure has good ductility and seismic performance.In all loading process,the rigidity degeneration is obvious and it is mainly in between crack and yield.
