State-of-the-art of high strength and high performance concrete shear walls

The state-of-the-art of high strength and high performance concrete shear walls is summarized in this paper.Details related to experimental study,theoretical analysis,seismic design,and fire resistant characteristics of the comcrete shear walls and so forth are involved.More attentions are paid to the influence of some key parameters on seismic performance.Key parameters discussed include ratio of axial compression,ratio of shear to span,rein forcement ratio,and concrete grades and so on.Besides,some applications of the high strength and high performance concrete shear walls are introduced.Technical problems and recommendations for further research are given.
