FATIGUE OROPERTIES AND DESIGN CRITERIA OF MILD STEEL YIELDING ENERGY DISSIPATORS

In this paper, based on the experimental study and theoretical analysis of the fa tigue properties of X-shape steel plate energy dissipators, the nonlinear strain analysis method of steel plate of the energy dissipator is established and the fatiguemodel is chosen properly. The strain-fatigue parameters are detetermined, and fatigue design criteria of the energy dissipators are set up, which provides an important base for the disign of mild steel energy dissipators.
