Design and implementation of oil-gas resource assessment system based on SOA

The traditional development pattern is difficult to integrate multi-source,heterogeneous geological data together.The authors built the layered oil-gas assessment service architecture based on Service-Oriented Architecture(SOA).WSM registers and manages the Web Service scomponents,in which some are new geological ones while the others encapsulate the existing geological data access components and geological computing components.BPEL designs neatly process flow to meet the different computing need of oil-gas evaluation.A number of kinds of client-side tools call the assessment Web Service components and return messages to end user.The results show that utilizing SOA in this system implements the integrative geological data share and application in-tegration,fulfils the need of oil-gas resource assessment.
