Application of improved Nemerow index method in evaluation of water quality in Huanglong industrial park catchment

Based on Underground Water Quality Amount Standard(GB/T14848-93),selecting 12 kinds of pollution factors with pertinency,such as total hardness,permanganate index,the authors used the improved Nemerow index method to evaluate the groundwater quality in Huanglong industrial park catchment.The results show that confined water quality is better,belonging to the third class;partial phreatic water quality is very poor,belonging to the fifth class.Considering the present groundwater quality,people concerned should strengthen the groundwater management.
