The Study on Synthesizing Process and Mechanical Propertites of the Nano-Particulate-Reinforcement Aluminum Matrix Composites

Microstructure,plasticity and mechanical properties at room temperature of the nano particle reinforcement aluminum matrix composites fabricated by in situ reaction and matrix alloy were studied.With the addition of N 2(g), the results show that the dimension of AlN particle was about 80 nm, which improve obviously the room temperature tensile strength and elongation of matrix alloy and refine the grain of Al 70%Si matrix alloy .
