Effect of Over-aging Temperature on Microstructure and Properties of Cold-rolling Dual Phase Steel

The research focused on analyzing the effect of over-aging temperature on the mechanical properties and microstructure of super high strength mild cold-rolled dual phase steel. The selected over-aging temperature is from room temperature to 500 ℃. The results show that,as the over-aging temperature increases,the tensile strength reduces because of the decomposition of martensite,and the growth of grains. When the over-aging temperature is higher than 300 ℃,yield extension breaks out. The best over-aging temperature for this kind of steel is between 200 ℃ and 300 ℃.
