Research Progress in Ceramic-lined Pipe Prepared by Self-propagating High Temperature Synthesis

The characteristics of self-propagating high-temperature synthesis were summarized, the preparation principle and process of ceramic-lined compound pipe were introduced. SHS method which was used in thermodynamics, kinetics, and combustion synthesis theory was analyzed. In order to improve the performance of ceramic-lined compound pipe prepared by SHS, the measures of improving the bond strength, toughness, compactness, corrosion resistance of the ceramic layer should be taken. The research direction of the compound pipe prepared by SHS was also pointed .
