Application of Stirring Casting Method on Preparation of SiC_p/Al Composite Material

In order to understand the various problems of SiCp/Al composite material prepared by stirring casting method(how to control the uniform distribution of the particles, and the solidification process of the matrix alloy under the particles action and so on), composites with uniform structure and good performance were prepared by using stirring casting method.The effects of parameters of particulate pretreatment and stirring process on microstructure and properties of composites were mainly analyzed. The application of stirring casting method in the preparation of SiCp/Al composite material was discussed.
