Research on Ti_(84)Mo_(16) Alloy Used for Replacing Hard Tissue

Based on the development of new titanium alloys for replacing hard tissue, Ti84Mo16 alloy was prepared by utilizing the powder metallurgy preparation technique. Mechanical properties can be improved rapidly for Ti84Mo16 alloy doped with SiO2. The active coating Ca10(PO4)6(OH)2was prepared on surface of the Ti84Mo16 alloy. The results show that ammonia bicarbonate medium method is good preparation of Ti84Mo16 porous alloy, and the Ti84Mo16 mixture powders doped with nano-size pure Ti sintering progress is good at improvement of stress of Ti84Mo16 porous alloy. These results have important values in medical applications.
