A Quality Standard Study for Huahong Capsule

We are trying to establish a method to improve the quality standard of Huahong Capsule.TLC was used to iden tify Emilia sonchifolia(L.)DC.,Hedyotis diffusa Willd,Millettia reticuiata Benth,and Rhodomyrtus tomentosa(Ait) Hassk.Deacetyl asperulosidic acid methyl ester in Huahong capsule was determined by RP-HPLC.The samples were separated by MERCK Purospher Star-C18(4.6×250 mm),with a mobile phase consisting of acetonitrile~water(4:96). The detection wavelength was set at 236 nm.Study results show that deacetyl asperulosidic acid methyl ester has a linear range between 0.5~5μg,with an averaged recovery of 98.84%,(RSD=0.90%).Ddeacetyl asperulosidic acid methyl ester in the capsule could be identified by TLC.It is concluded that the method to determine the content of deacetyl asperulosidic acid methyl ester is precise,and the extraction operation is simple.The specificity of this method is reliable,and the specificity to identify deacetyl asperulosidic acid methyl ester using TLC is sound,The quality of Huabong capsule can be effectively controlled using the said quality standard.
