Using Insect for Indicator to Monitor and Assess Forest Ecosystem Health

Ecosystem health is a prerequisite to the service function of ecosystem.Assessment and indicator system has become the key issues in the research on ecosystem health.Insect is an important component of forest biodiversity,which is closely related with plant in the main community of forest ecosystem.Intimidation of forest pest and trends of insect diversity have important value for rapidly assessing forest ecosystem health.The study shows that insect diversity is valuable to be used for rapidly assessing forest ecosystem health.
