Analysis of Jinyang War

Jinyang War happened at the time when the Spring and Autumn Period gave way to the Warring States Period,and has been discussed by predecessor scholars.This paper centers upon the historical background of the war,namely,the beneficial conflicts among the clans,the sharp contradiction between the clans of Zhao and Zhi in particular,pointing out that the co-existence of the two clans could not be achieved because of their antagonistic strategic objectives,which finally triggered the war between the two clans.Additionally,this paper also gives an analysis of the result of the war and its influence at that time and in later ages.
