STUDY ON DESIGN METHOD OF PORTABLE TERMINALS FOR VSAT SATELLITE COMMUNICATION

To explore the industrial design ?ow and method of portable terminals applicable to VSAT satellite communication. The portable terminal for VSAT satellite communication was comprehensively analyzed from the perspective of industrial design,to clarify functional requirements,ergonomic requirements and structural features of the portable terminal. Besides,this paper took the SATTOUR series of portable terminals for satellite communication produced by Space Star Technology Co.,Ltd. as an example,acquired the design ?ow and method of the typical terminal products for satellite communication by summarizing the design process of the terminal samples. The design method of the portable terminals for VSAT satellite communication was summarized. This method can provide reference for design,research and development of the same type of satellite communication products.
