3-D finite element analysis on spatial deformation of double-row cellular continuous diaphragm wall

The double-row cellular continuous diaphragm wall is a new type of self-supporting enclosure structure for construction of foundation pit. It cannot only play the role of the continuous diaphragm wall,but also has the merits of high stiffness of wall,better impermeability and without inner support. By taking the construction project of a deep foundation pit as the study case,the characteristics of the spatial deformation of the double-row cellular continuous diaphragm wall is emphatically analyzed herein by the simulation made on the excavation and dewatering of the foundation pit with the finite element method concerned.
