SCULPTURING OF SPACE: THE LANDSCAPE DESIGN OF ARTIST ISAMU NOGUCHI

Early in the 20 century, before the cominginto being of Land Art, Isamu Noguchi expanded theconcept of sculpture into landscape successfully, whichmade the landscape no longer the background of thework of art, but a part of it. As an artist, Isamu Noguchitried to combine sculpture with garden. He exploitednew form of landscape architecture from the point ofview of art and contributed much to the developmentof landscape architecture after second world war.
