Effects of Bridge Deck Surface Roughness on Vibration of Large SpanCable-stayed Bridges due to Moving Vehicles

The random bridge deck surface roughness is described by means of a zero-mean stationary Gaussian random process and the bridge is modeled by finite element method considering initial stress effect and geometrical non-linearity of cable-stayed bridge in the study.Equations of vehicle-bridge vibration are solved by incremental integral method in order to analyze the dynamic characteristic of cable-stayed bridges.
