Study on Extraction Technology of Lycium Barbarum Polysaccharide by Orthogonal Test

The effect of temperature, ratio of water to material and extracting times of hot water extracting techniques on rate and purity of lycium barbarum polysaccharid (LBP) was studied by orthogonal test. The results showed that: Extraction rate and purity of LBP increased with significant changes(P0.05)as the temperature rose up; extraction rate of LBP rising firstly and then declined with significant changes (P0.05) as the extracting times increased; and the extraction rate was highest with 1.62% when applying the condition of ratio of water to material 1:25, temperature 95℃ and extracting 2 times.
